SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY

We partnered with Into Action, a civic engagement movement of designers and artists, to drive voter education for the 2020 Presidental Election. The work was modeled after their execution of the Obama HOPE Campaign featuring street artist Shepherd Fairey and tactics used when leading arts and culture for the Bernie Sanders 2016 Presidential Campaign.

We identified and comissioned 70+ highly targeted culture makers amongst unique Gen-Z affinity groups (e.g. beauty, design, nail art, streetwear) to create and distribute digital influencer content that would reach and persuade the young audience where they lived - on Instagram and TikTok social platforms.

This included mega-influencers from Demi Lovato, Halsey, Kerry Washington and Ciara to targeted regional micro- and macro-influencers, while capitalizing on moving trends such as the viral development of TikTok sensation Doggface.

Our accelerated and efficient efforts garnered hundreds of millions of impressions and engagements to include both partisan and non-partisan voter education, driving traffic to iWillVote.com and building awareness around MoveOn.org and Women’s March.

Each piece of content drove digital engagement to mobilize Gen-Z nationally and in key geographies including battleground states of Georgia, Arizona, Texas, and North Carolina.
